A group of young Mexicans, who worked in different restaurants, decided to join forces and open a single Mexican restaurant that offered a cozy, home-like atmosphere at affordable prices. They wanted the place to remind patrons of “el paso”—the passage— into a different meal, full of feeling and flavor. That’s why they named the restaurant El Paso, since it is a bridge (in the City of Bridges) between two cultures (American and Mexican) that have something in common: enjoying a good Margarita and a good Mexican dish.
